PROBLEM
Formerly incarcerated individuals in Portland face major barriers to reentry — including housing, employment, ID access, and healthcare. Going Home II, a grassroots nonprofit led by lived experience, had a powerful mission but needed digital systems, structure, and visibility to expand its services and qualify for major funding.

SOLUTION
I worked directly with the founder/executive director to modernize and formalize the nonprofit’s operations — building its digital presence, branding, intake infrastructure, and grant-readiness assets. These efforts were instrumental in helping Going Home II unlock over $4 million in funding and grants, enabling the organization to dramatically expand housing, support, and advocacy services for returning citizens.
